Bianca Stefina and Mika Tomac have teamed up to bring you the Somatic Learning Institute - bringing the mind, body, soul and spirit into psychotherapy working with complex and attachment trauma.
Our workshops follow a format of theory, application, integration, live demos and case consultation so you leave ready to implement skills, tools and new found wisdom with clients in your next session.
With both our case loads focusing on primarily complex trauma in our private practice, we believe equipping both new and seasoned therapists with tools to go deeper than just talking is essential to true transformational change.
Together we bring backgrounds in Internal Family Systems, Parts Work, Somatic Work, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Memory Reconsolidation, Brainspotting and Parts and Memory Work.
In our trainings you can expect us pulling from the work of memory reconsolidation, experiential models, somatic wisdom, intuition and restoring wholeness in our clients with a focus on strengthening the sense of self in therapists and clients alike.
Understand the deep dive into the neurobiology of trauma and complex trauma - how it relates and shows in the therapy space. Learn about interpersonal neurobiology, co-regulation and the language of the nervous system.
You will leave with an understanding of your own system, real time interventions and an opportunity to speak and bring your cases to the small group and learn with real time role play. Watch along structured demos with step by step break downs of skills being used.
With an opportunity to practice in real time, you will get feedback from peers and your trainers to leave feeling fully confident in your new found learning.
