Hi, I'm Robyn!  I am Registered Social Worker and currently enrolled in training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist- Individual. I am the co-director of Mindfully Me Group Practice. 

Life can be really hard and finding a safe place to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and explore your wellbeing can be even harder. 

Your journey, life experiences, and challenges are unique. I believe the connection between a therapist and client is essential to the counselling process. I have worked with individuals facing all kinds of challenges including mental health, addiction, grief, life transition, trauma, and relationship conflict. I have enhanced training in Trauma counselling and extensive experience supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking. 

As each client is unique, so too is the approach I take in my counselling practice. I use an integrated therapeutic approach, pulling from Cognitive behaviour therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, solution-focused and strength-based approach.  Self-determination and a client centered approach will guide our work together to develop a realistic and tangible plan for your healing. 

I believe you are your own greatest resource and I want to be part of developing tools and strategies to help reach your wellness goals.

Robyn was a therapist in the community I have admired for the past 2 years. I originally met with Robyn for coffee virtually and her energy immediality captivated me. Robyn is incredibly kind, compassionate, funny and a powerhouse of a professional.  Robyn's extensive experience with human-traffic survivors caught my eye and as I sent her referrals, her clients reported she was an absolute joy to work with. Robyn's warm smile, humour and dedication to continuous learning, advocacy work and person centred approach is something we all deserve in a therapist. I am so very grateful to welcome Robyn to my team as our Co-Director and supervision lead.
